Re: Enroll UX 2014: User-Friendly Design

As a designer who has taken a few IDIA courses I always struggled with incorporating usability into my design concepts. Many professors in the IDIA department prefer usability over aesthetics. I think graphic designers and IT web developers must work together to find a happy medium, in order to create awesome Websites.  On another note, I came across this website: http://www.usability.gov/index.html  and wondered to myself if companies actually use this?
