When I read this, I was reminded of a discussion we had at work last week about newspaper design. As you all know, print newspapers are slipping in subscribers, so many editorial teams are getting creative with their layouts. The Carroll County Times decided to publish their entire paper in pink, to promote and support breast cancer.
Do you think the design and color choice were a success? I am still idealistic, thinking readers are going to read my stories for their groundbreaking content...and then I look at subscription numbers.
Like book covers, sometimes a modern update might pay off...but I think the pink is overkill.

I actually love the idea.
The real problem comes into play when someone starts questioning the importance of using this design and marketing method during other awareness months.
