I've been under the weather for a while, so excuse the brief post.
My dream design job is movie credits. However, in terms of planning my career, I'm looking to work in a small or medium shop or as in-house design when I graduate. I'd like to build up my skills in as many areas of design as I can. I'll also look to pick up some contract or freelance work in addition to my daily job, most likely. Eventually, I'd like to transition to freelancing full- (or part-) time after a few years (and after paying off some more of my debt).
I haven't really started a portfolio yet; I've thrown together some samples for job applications, but I haven't really had time to devote any time to it. Also, I have no idea when I'll actually graduate, so I'm focusing more on my school projects.
