I want to learn how to do as much as possible but I do know I will not be able to perfect it all. Just having the know how can be a plus at times so if the right opportunity presents itself it may push me to learn a little more.

Yes. Sometimes the biggest challenge is to get started. We get intimidated by the finished product or what we want the end result to be so just try and if you find yourself not making the progress you desire because of the deadline you may want to go in a different direction. Try!
