Just happened to google the subject and quickly found a story of success:

Although I do believe that almost all pubs will need to have a digital component, I don't know that the hard copy is going away completely. Like mentioned, there are still many folks who just like to hold a real book or newspaper in their hand. Adele's post almost puts a negative spin on the exposure that going digital gives you, but isn't that the point of growth? Expanding your reach is usually what people want these days. The only reason it seems different than years ago is because the reach is gained through the internet, vs. physical travel. I look at the digital revolution as exploration – doing the same thing as, let's say, crossing the Atlantic in search of new land. It's just another way of getting your message out there. And who's to say that "amateur" reviews aren't helpful anyway. I've seen plenty of crappy movies that were revered by acclaimed critics. To me, the more variety, the better.
