Wes Craven Triptych

For better or for worse, here it is. I am torn--I really wanted to do illustrations instead of using photographs. I guess I'll see what Amy thinks before I go reinventing anything. Eek, time is running out!

Comments are welcome--brutal honesty is good. ;)

I'm not sold on the angle of the "stripe." It looks too steep to me. Maybe make it shallower, so the top and bottom bars run across all three posters?

I also think your type could use some distressing. Good thing I'll be talking about that in class on Thursday! :)

I love the house. Your definatley on the right track. I do not know how I feel about the black triangle running across though.

I love the way they look standing together... they look really balanced. How does each one look on its own? I think the Left and Right will still look good, but I wonder about the middle one.

thank you all! I am torn about the black shapes --i had thought about a simple rectangle but I really like the dynamic of the slant so the viewer knows something is amiss in this sleepy house. ;)

I forgot about distressing my text--I cannot wait for the tutorial. :)
