Poster Advice
Alright, we had mentioned posting drafts of our posters on the the blog before class to get some more feedback, so I figured I'd start the trend. I don't have any type on them, but I figured I had to get down my background and concept first. I tried to marry them with a color scheme, and now they all focus on something looking out - some type of eye(s). The background shapes in each tie into the rest of the each movie. What do you think? Any suggestions? Do you know what it is?

This is an incredible improvement Tracy! The color really pulls it together. One question, what are the yellow dots in the camera poster suppose to represent? Are they lights? That was the only thing that was confusing to me. I can easily identify everything else. Great job!
Thanks Valerie! The yellow circles are part of the computer. In the movie, the computer is in a circular room, and the yellow circles are covering the outer wall surrounding the main computer/motherboard. I think the circles are supposed to be cameras or different places it thinks? Not sure, guess I have to rematch. But I guess the circles would only make sense to those who have seen the movie. Not sure if she said that was ok in class...? I am glad you and Stephanie think my posters are going in the right direction :)
I think she said it was fine for there to be symbology unique to the films in the posters--it's likely the audience for film series like these would have prior familiarity and understand what's going on with these. These look a lot better, and I like the yellow red and black palette a lot!. I'm interested to see how you'll handle the text with these, as the imagery in the first two might present some challenges with readability.
I posted yesterday that I love your revisions, but my comment hasn't shown up :(. Anyway, these are awesome, Tracy!
