Well, this happened.

UB's brand is evolving.

During the coming months, you will begin to see an evolution of UB’s identity system and branding.

We have:
  • abandoned the three-panel torch graphic
  • introduced a livelier, brighter blue
  • introduced a new typographic treatment for “University of Baltimore” (otherwise known as our “signature”).
We have not:
  • changed the University’s official typefaces (Meta and Garamond)
  • changed the lowercase UB logo (other than removing the torch).
See the first phase of the new identity. Visit the Learning Commons lobby to view the graphics that were recently installed as the first step in introducing the bolder, cleaner approach to our identity.

Look for our new banners. In October, you will see new banners on the city street poles and in Gordon Plaza.

Don’t throw out your stuff. Don’t worry—as the identity evolves, there’s no need to throw away your existing branded materials such as stationery and University publications. We’ll simply replace them as you need them with materials that reflect the evolved branding.

Learn more. Please join us for an information session on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2-3 p.m. in the Moot Courtroom of the John and Frances Angelos Law Center to learn more about what we have accomplished so far and about our future plans. We hope to see you there.
