Poster Series

Sorry to take away from your topic Cat, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions/feedback on my posters. I hand drew the font for Nancy Meyers, and then edited it in Illustrator to make it look more uniform and nicer. I also made the objects larger and made all of the fonts smaller. I know the locket poster is hard to read, but it's also unreadable when I make the text white. I still think the placement of the text needs work, but I don't know what to do with it. Feedback is greatly appreciated!

is there a significance to the purple background on the parent trap? if not, you could turn it a different lighter color which would help your font problem - you're having the issue on both the bottom and top text. also, i think the perspective on the tiles in what women want is a little distracting - you can clean it up in photoshop pretty easily.

I really like the texture for the Parent Trap poster now, as oppose to the red bed sheet you had before. I do agree the text is a tad hard to read, but I think the colors are working nice with the gold necklace.

The What Women Want poster, I really like the positioning of the hair dryer. I'm not sure if there is a reflection on the hair dryer or if its a design, but it caught my eye right away and was a bit distracting.

When I think of The Parent Trap, I always think of them meeting and the hijinks that ensue at camp. And I remember them wearing a lot of white and dark green at camp. Maybe you could find a blanket with one or both of those colors instead of this purple one with the crazy weaving. That would be easier to work with, especially with the text. And I still think the gold locket would pop well with dark green.
