Hi Steve, Amy said it's OK to leave comments on work, cuz it's just clearer. I like vineyard and winery on the top (the slight serif) I think the font is just a touch too bold on the top one. How does it look with the slight serif on the bottom? Overall really nice, you have a nice clean style. Did you try just have the stroke just on the center mountain? Or maybe have the stroke a darker green instead of black. This looks really close to me. I still have work to do getting mine to go with the type. logos. *sigh*
Steve, I think you're about done. I would like to see one more variation if you can stand it and agree with the suggestion. I really like the serif on top wiht the sans on the bottom without the leaf. The leaf was a good experience to work through but it just isn't needed. What I would like to see is a slightly flattend bottom edge on on your moutain. So that the arc doesn't go straight down but kind of tapers off. It doesn't have to be much but just soften that arc up slightly -- very slightly. It may not work -- see what you think. If you don't like it, don't even post it. Hope you are feeling better.
Hi Steve, I really like the choice with the serif on top as well. I think it was Jocelyn who said there needs to be the feeling of sophistication when working with wine and a serif says sophisticated to me. I'm jealous you're almost done!
I want to thank all of you who left your comments on my latest revisions. I do have a good feeling about the serifed font I used. I used it to in fact add the sophistication that the previous week's revisions lacked. It's as if I went from a winery to a grape juice marketed to kids with the bright colors and rounded cartoon fonts. Sometimes you have to go to the extremes before you find the right mixture. I'll create some more revisions based on Amy's suggestions to see how they look. Again thanks everyone.
