Ridley Scott

So based on the discussion on Thursday, this is what I've come up with for my poster series. Please let me know your thoughts. I'm hoping to work on it again Monday and possibly repost. Thanks!!!

The lighting on Gladiator looks great and I think Mars is working really well. I feel like Black Hawk Down may need a little more directional lighting. Gladiator you can see the light shining through the windows, Mars has a nice rounded glow, but Black Hawk Down...the lighting feels a little flatter compared to the others. Just a suggestion. Overall, looks great!

First -- I think this concept for artwork is working really well. I agree with Layla, Black Hawk Down is your outlier. One of the reasons is the straight angles vs the curvatures on the other two. And the lighting isn't integrated as well. The typography needs to brighten up a bit. -- Great job!

Shannon, what I would say is that these are great starts, I agree that the black hawk down is the one that is not in line because there is less lighting effect, or lack of one. That may be because of your progress with the pieces.

I would also say that you may want to do something with the fonts for Gladiator. Because of the blue type and the black background they are getting lost.
