Scanner?

Hi all. After updating to Leopard, now Snow leopard I have left my scanner useless. So, I need a new one, does anyone have some good advice for me? Any to stay away from? Thanks.

OK, I tapped into a resource of mine, NAPP. I got some free advice from a great source. If you don't know what NAPP is, I suggest you find out. Worth every penny if you want to be a world class Photoshop pro. Beyond the tutorials and stuff there are tons of discounts and other benefits of being a member. I've been a member for 3 years, been using Photoshop since 1998 and I still learn stuff from the all the time.

Opps, I forgot to mention the scanner. My budget was > $250, it had to work with Snow Leopard and PsCS4. This is what he suggested:

Epson Perfection V500 Photo Scanner

List price was $200, I found it for $169.99 on Amazon. Word.
