re: video game screens

Ahh, 8 bit graphics, how I miss thee! It is absolutley amazing how far we have come in about 25 years isn't it? And more amazingly, at least to me, is that we've all been around to see it happen. I remember playing games on my moms 23inch tube TV thinking it was the best thing ever. Fast forward to today, and I have a large flat screen to play HD games on, some in 3D! Crazyness.

As for the design of the screens themselves, it's sad what was "current" at that time. But I have a feeling we may look at what we are doing in 25 years in almost the same light.
