Project 3
How about some feedback for your friend bob?
the 3 images are as follows: elephant man is a desaturated sepia, straight story is desaturated full color, eraserhead is black & white–homage to the style the movies were shot in.
i have created a custom typeface that resembles the type the movie titles are in, haven't been able to download it from fontstruct yet.
i am also still adding the details like show times, dates, etc. I am also going with a different treatment for lynch's name, but that is the place holder.

Hey I really like the elephant man image, I see the texture and can refer to an elephant without seen one. Good choice.
The other two images; the straight story, I feel is telling me something, maybe a place, something happen there, a story that I guess is good.
Not sure about the Eraser head. Maybe I have many questions about that one, why do you present that one in B&W??? Did you rotate that image?? Is there something about the movie that is mechanic? Sorry I have not seen that movie.
I also see a signature in the bottom right?? Is that what it is?? I don't know if that element ads anything to the information in the poster.
I really like the typeface you created for the titles; in my case I'm placing the short title in the middle of the three posters that was an opinion that we talk in class, just in case you want to change the order.
Hope you have more feedback that can help you!
I haven't seen any of the movies but I really like the direction you are heading in. I think the poster for "The Elephant Man" looks great. To me it looks like a man weeping and all you can see are his fingers. I like "Eraser Head" as well. I would like to see "The Straight Story" as a monochromatic image.
Should the director's name be featured more prominently?
Good things to consider, thank you both. I'm really enjoying this last assignment. I'll post some edits later today.
